style icon: ariana grande

Ariana Grande is one of the most talented vocalists of this generation, her vocals are technically and stylistically amazing. Also, her sense of style is so distinct and unique. She is one of my favorite celebrities. I've been absolutely loving her album Sweetener and her new single thank u, next. Which is funny, because I don't usually listen to pop music. I cannot wait for her next album.

Here are 5 looks I styled, inspired by Ariana Grande.

Look #1 is from her One Love Manchester concert. She's wearing an oversized crewneck, baggy jeans, and high heeled boots. Her hair is in her signature high ponytail.

For my look, I'm wearing one of my favorite crewnecks, a light blue Harry Styles one, mom jeans, and lace up chunky heeled boots. I love this outfit, because it is so comfy, yet the boots make it look more put together. You can also pair this look with sneakers, to be more casual.

Look #2 is a simple t-shirt and her staple thigh high boots. She is about 5" ft tall, and so am I, so this outfit works. She again has her hair in a high pony tail, with a cute little barrette.

For my look, I don't own any over-the-knee boots, so I'm cheating and wear the same boots in the last look, but with tall socks. The t-shirt I'm wearing is a One Direction shirt that I tie-dyed with bleach.

Look #3 is a cute look, especially for the colder weather we've been having. She is wearing a white tank, baggy jeans, a green teddy coat, and heeled boots.

For my look, I'm wearing a quilted black jacket, a white ribbed tank, and mom jeans, with heeled boots.

Look #4 is honestly so iconic. Ariana is wearing a super cute, oversized brown crewneck (probably Yeezy), with Gucci thigh high boots. This style is called "lamp shading", aka baggy on top, slim on the bottom, like what an actual lamp looks like.

For my look, I'm wearing an oversized Champion crewneck, with boots and tall socks again. I love this look, but I think it is a bit out of my comfort zone to go out like this as of now haha.
