Summer is coming up quicker than anyone expected, but also not fast enough. I included some songs in this playlist that really have a summery feel. I wanted to touch on some songs in more detail in this post. Fun fact, George Harrison's My Sweet Lord was stuck in my head throughout my entire AP Lit exam. Halsey's Nightmare is her newest single, and it shows her range and depth as an artist, showing her venturing in a more punk, alternative direction which I love very much. Her music video even featured the legend herself, Debbie Harry! Also, Lana Del Rey's Doin' Time is a cover of the Sublime song that I enjoy thoroughly. It is a haunting, fresh new take on the song, which will be featured in an upcoming documentary on Sublime. I added my favorite Ariana Grande song off her newest album on the playlist too, since my friend and I are going to see her in June! I hope you enjoy this month's playlist.
